Awareness Session at UC Mangopir on Immunization and Polio Eradication

An awareness session was held in UC Mangopir with teachers of The Learning House School on the importance of fIPV, its target age groups, and its role in polio eradication, alongside the routine immunization schedule and protection against 13 vaccine-preventable diseases. The session was facilitated by Dr. Faheem Waqar, DSV Khalid Afridi, Haider Ali (VITAL Coordinator), and PEI staff. Through this collaborative effort, the teaching staff gained deeper understanding of immunization protocols and became advocates within their schools for promoting immunization awareness among students and parents. This initiative highlights VPT's commitment to partnering with educational institutions to spread critical health awareness and support the national polio eradication initiative while ensuring comprehensive immunization coverage for all children.
