VITAL Pakistan Trust (VPT) delivers a robust and integrated model of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services aimed at improving the health outcomes of women and children in underserved, peri-urban, and low-income communities. Central to its approach is the use of digital health technologies to identify and monitor high-risk pregnancies in real time—enabling early detection, timely clinical decision-making, and improved coordination of care. VPT’s MNCH services are delivered through a dedicated workforce of midwives, sonographers, community health workers (CHWs), and skilled birth attendants, who ensure timely access to high-quality care at both the household and facility levels. The organization offers a comprehensive range of services, including antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care (PNC), family planning, newborn follow-up, immunization support, and health education. The organization emphasizes evidence-based practices, operationalized through an integrated digital health platform that captures longitudinal patient data across the continuum of care. This enhances system accountability, enables real-time monitoring, and supports data-driven decision-making. In collaboration with local stakeholders, international partners, and academic institutions, VPT actively contributes to national efforts aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to maternal and child health.
